INDIANAPOLIS - Loyola University Chicago sophomore Laura Trevillian has been named Horizon League Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the period of Sept. 22-28. It is Trevillian's second weekly honor from the league office this season.

Trevillian, a Plainfield, Ill., native, scored seven points (3g, 1a) in Loyola's two matches last weekend. She opened the weekend with a pair of goals and an assist in a 3-0 win over Drake Friday evening. Her first tally gave the Ramblers a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute, and she would assist on the team's second goal early in the second half. The midfielder closed the night by finding the back of the net in the 83rd minute of the contest.

Trevillian added a tally in the seventh minute of LU's 2-1 win versus Wright State Sunday afternoon. Junior Cynthia Morote-Ariza scored four minutes later to put Loyola ahead for good in the contest.

For the week, Trevillian finished with three goals and an assist in two matches. She totaled six shots, including five tries on goal. She currently ranks eighth in the Horizon League in points (11) and is one of five players in the conference tied for second with five goals.

Trevillian and the Ramblers (5-7-0, 1-0-0 HL) return to action by hosting league-leading Milwaukee Friday at 8 p.m. ET. They will then travel to Cleveland State for an 11 a.m. ET contest on Sunday.
