INDIANAPOLIS -- Green Bay guard Kaili Lukan (Barrie, Ontario) has been named the Horizon League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week while Oakland guard Nola Anderson (Marlette, Mich.) has been named Freshman of the Week.

In Saturday’s 69-67 win vs. Wright State (15-6, 4-2 Horizon League), Lukan posted 23 points while going 9-of-15 from the field and 5-of-7 from the charity stripe. In five league games, Lukan has posted 20+ points on four occasions and is averaging 20.2 points per game in league action.

The sophomore guard started the game a perfect 3-for-3 and had a hand in five of the team’s first six baskets. Lukan finished the contest with four assists.

At Cleveland State, Anderson provided a spark off the bench by scoring a career high 14 points while also adding five rebounds. Trailing by as many as 12 points in the opening period, Oakland went on a 15-6 run to close the half, with Anderson scoring four points over the stretch. The Golden Grizzlies would go on to outscore the Vikings 57-36 in the final 30 minutes to seal a 73-62 victory.

On Saturday, Anderson scored seven points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes of action in Oakland’s 79-64 loss at Youngstown State (9-9, 5-0) on Saturday.

Green Bay (10-7, 3-2) and Oakland (8-11, 3-3) return to action when they meet at the O’Rena in Rochester, Mich. at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday.

Abby Dean
, Valparaiso (So., G) - Dean recorded career highs in points (20) and steals (6) in a 85-44 win vs. Detroit on Thursday. Also scored 11 points in Tuesday’s 69-51 loss at UIC.
Kim Demmings, Wright State (Jr., G) - In a 69-64 win at Milwaukee on Thursday, Demmings tailed 21 points and seven rebounds on 9-of-22 shooting. On Saturday, the guard connected on a career high six 3-pointers en route to 24 points and seven rebounds in the loss at Green Bay.
Tayelor McCalister, Detroit (So., G) - Tied her season high in points (17) in a 81-69 loss on Thursday at Milwaukee. Also tied her career high (nine) in rebounds.
Angela Rodriguez, Milwaukee (Sr., G) - Rodriguez led the Panthers in Saturday’s victory vs. Detroit scoring 16 points in the contest. On Saturday, Rodriguez scored 13 points in the Panthers loss at the hands of Wright State. For the week, the guard posted 13 assists.
Heidi Schlegel, Youngstown State (Jr., F) - Scored a game-high 25 points and nine rebounds in the Penguins 79-64 win on Saturday vs. Oakland.
Rachel Story, UIC (Sr., G) - Notched a career high 34 points on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point land in the Flames 83-78 win vs. Cleveland State on Saturday. On Thursday, scored nine points and had three assists in a win vs. Valparaiso.
Bethany Watterworth, Oakland (Sr., F) - Watterworth scored 15 points in Oakland’s 73-62 victory at Cleveland State. Posted a team-high 21 points and nine rebounds in Oakland’s loss at Youngstown State.
Imani Gordon, Cleveland State (Jr., F) - Became the first Viking to notch 20 rebounds in game since the 1998-99 season in Thursday’s loss vs. Oakland. Also tailed 27 points in the contest. In the Vikings loss vs. UIC on Saturday, Gordon posted 17 points and chipped in seven rebounds.

, Green Bay (Fr., G) - Connected on her first three shot attempts to help Green Bay pull out to an early lead vs. Wright State. Sealed the game by grabbing one of her eight rebounds with 19 seconds remaining. Finished the contest with nine points.
Jenna Hirsch, Youngstown State (Fr., G) - Posted six points and five helpers in the Penguins victory over Oakland. 
Aliyah Issac, Valparaiso (Fr., G) - In the Crusaders loss at UIC, Issac posted six points and two rebounds.
Reyna Montgomery, Detroit (Fr., G) - Montgomery tied her career high points (11) in the Titans loss at Milwaukee. Tailed four points, three rebounds in a loss at Valparaiso.
Sydney Snower, Milwaukee (Fr., G) - Led the Panthers with a career high 13 points against Wright State on Thursday while shooting 3-of-7 on 3-pointers. Posted eight points in the team’s win vs. Detroit.
Olivia Voskuhl, Cleveland State (Fr., F) - Notched her second career double-digit game with 11 points at UIC while also posting a career high five rebounds. Earlier in the week, scored three points in the Vikings loss at Oakland.
