Following victories over each of its two closest competitors last week, #16/17 Butler enters the second half of its League schedule with a two-game lead over second-place Green Bay. The Bulldogs have won 10 games overall and can tie the League record of 21 consecutive victories over conference opponents with a victory Friday at home against Valparaiso on ESPNU (7 p.m. ET).
Green Bay moved into second place in the League standings at 7-2 Saturday with an 83-76 victory at Valparaiso, thanks to a career-high 36 points from senior Ryan Tillema, who now ranks second in League games with 17.6 points per game. (Cleveland State senior J'Nathan Bullock leads with 18.6 points per game.)
Wright State has won 12 of its last 14 games following an 0-6 start and has moved into fourth place in the League standings at 6-3, only one game out of second.
