Horizon League Storylines

· Green Bay (18-6, 10-2) moved within a half-game of League-leading Butler Monday with a 75-66 victory over the Bulldogs (19-2, 10-1) that ended Butler's 11-game winning streak. The Phoenix' victory was their first victory over a ranked team since the 1998-99 season and marked the highest-ranked opponent Green Bay has ever defeated. The loss also halted Butler's 21-game League regular-season win string, which had tied Green Bay's League record set from 1995-97.

· The pairings for the 7th Annual ESPNU BracketBusters event were announced Monday night, with three Horizon League teams earning spots in televised games on Saturday, Feb. 21 as #11/11 Butler will play at Davidson, Green Bay will travel to Long Beach State, and Wright State will host Northeastern. Other games that day are North Dakota State at Milwaukee, Cleveland State at Wichita State, Bradley at Loyola, Southern Illinois at UIC, Saint Peter's at Youngstown State, Akron at Valparaiso and Detroit at Tennessee State. Specific ESPN networks and game times for the televised games will be announced Monday, Feb. 9.
