• Entering the final week of the Horizon League regular-season schedule, eight of the 10 seeds in the Speedway Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship have yet to be determined.
• Butler (17-0) has clinched its fourth consecutive regular-season title and the #1 seed and will host at least the second round and semifinals of the League tournament March 5-6 at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Bulldogs also would host the championship game if they advance.
• The Horizon League game of the week this Friday on ESPNU will match #15/10 Butler against state-rival Valparaiso. Game time from the ARC is 9 p.m. ET.
• The final HLN Game of the Week airs this Saturday and features Detroit at Youngstown State. Tip-off is 2 p.m. ET at Beeghly Center. The game will air live on MyNDY 23 (Indianapolis), MyYTV (Youngstown), ESPN Full Court/ESPN360.com and HorizonLeagueNetwork.tv and tape-delayed on Time-Warner Sports 32 (Wisconsin) on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.
• According to The RPI Report, three Horizon League teams are ranked among the top 100 in RPI through Feb. 21 -- Butler-18th, Wright State-93rd and Green Bay-98th.
