 Horizon League teams have won 10 of 12 games since Thursday, including going 6-1 in road and neutral-site contests ... the League's overall record is 24-14 (.632) entering this week's action.

 #11/10 Butler (3-0) held off a late Evansville rally for a 64-60 victory Saturday on the road behind Shelvin Mack's 17 points ... the win extended the Bulldogs' November winning streak to 23 ... Butler next will face #22/16 Minnesota in the 76 Classic on Thanksgiving Day.

 With its victory Sunday over Alcorn State, Detroit has won four straight for the first time since the 2004-05 season and is off to its best start since going 4-1 to begin the 2001-02 campaign. Sophomore Eli Holman was named MVP of the Albany sub-regional of the Coaches v. Cancer Classic.

 Cleveland State's Norris Cole scored a career-high 38 points to lead the Vikings past Florida A&M 78-64 Thursday in the first round of the Cancun Challenge and followed that up with 24 versus Sam Houston State in Saturday's second round.

 Aric Van Weelden's three-pointer at the buzzer capped an improbable comeback as Loyola erased an eight-point deficit in the final 1:05 to earn a 76-73 victory over Holy Cross Friday.
