INDIANAPOLIS - Youngstown State junior Joe Iacobucci and Milwaukee sophomore Cameron Amsrud have been named Horizon League Baseball Players of the Week for the week ending May 10.

Iacobucci hit .500 and had an OBP of .600 for the week, recording six runs and seven RBI.  The Boardman, Ohio, native posted at least one hit, one run and one RBI in each of his three games.  He also tallied four doubles en route to a .833 slugging percentage.  YSU travels to Toledo and Ohio this week before journeying to Valparaiso this weekend.

Amsrud appeared in two games last week, notching one win and one save.  Against league-leading Wright State on Friday, the right-hander pitched a hitless two innings, securing the win for UWM.  Overall he worked four flawless innings, retiring each batter he faced allowing no hits.  Milwaukee currently sits in second place in the Horizon League standings at 11-7, 23-20 overall.  The Panthers are one of just two conference teams to own a .500 or better overall record.  UWM steps out of league action for a Wednesday afternoon contest against Northern Illinois before battling Butler and UIC this weekend.
