The Milwaukee men’s soccer team is off to an impressive 9-0-1 start, gaining national attention with its undefeated record through 10 games.

The Panthers have made their way into several college soccer NCAA Division I polls this year, continually rising in the rankings with each win. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, released every Tuesday, ranked Milwaukee No. 24 to mark its first appearance after several weeks obtaining votes. In addition to the national poll, the NSCAA ranked the Panthers No. 3 in the Great Lakes region.

The College Soccer News poll ranked Milwaukee No. 21 this week and featured the Panthers in the article “What’s Trending In College Soccer – Ten Things to Think About This Week.”

Other noteworthy rankings Milwaukee has made an appearance in include No. 22 in the “Top Drawer Soccer” poll and No. 25 in the “Soccer Times” and “Soccer America” polls.

The Panthers remain one of five unbeaten teams at the NCAA Division I level and have continually shown improvement throughout the season thus far. The squad is currently ranked in the nation second in winning percentage (.950), sixth in total goals (24), seventh in points per game (7.0), eighth in total points (70), ninth in scoring (2.4 gpg), 10th in assists (22), and 25th in goals against average (0.68).
