INDIANAPOLIS - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee freshman forward Sarah Hagen has been named Horizon League Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the period of Oct. 6-12. It is Hagen's second weekly honor from the League office this season.
Hagen, an Appleton, Wis., native, scored four goals in a pair of Horizon League victories last weekend. She opened the weekend by scoring twice in the first half of UWM's 7-0 win at Cleveland State University Friday night. Her tallies came 48 second apart and gave the Panthers a 4-0 lead.
Hagen followed that performance with another pair of goals in a 3-0 victory Sunday at Youngstown State.
