Milwaukee's Kraai and Green Bay's Pogue earn weekly honors

INDIANAPOLIS –Milwaukee’s Zac Kraai is the Horizon League men’s swimmer of the week and Green Bay’s Daniel Pogue is the men’s diver of the week for Feb. 1-7.

Kraai, a sophomore from Zeeland, Mich., has earned his first player of the week honor for the season, helping the Panthers defeat Green Bay in a dual meet on Saturday (Feb. 5). He recorded season-best times in both events he competed in, setting a pool record in the 500 Freestyle (4:32.46), taking second-place in the Horizon League.  He also competed in the 1,000 Freestyle, finishing in a time of 9:30.78.

Pogue, a junior from Chisholm, Minn., recorded the highest scores ever in the One and Three Meter Dives on Saturday at the Dorschel Natatorium. In the One-Meter he recorded a 337.80 and in the three-meter he scored a 342.45.

All Horizon League swimming and diving programs are off until the Horizon League Championship, Feb. 23-26, hosted by Cleveland State in Cleveland, Ohio. HLN will provide live coverage on www.horizonleague.com.
