INDIANAPOLIS –Milwaukee’s Emily McClellan is the Horizon League Women’s Swimmer of the Week and Cleveland State’s Kacey Cummings is the Women’s Diver of the Week for Nov. 30 – Dec. 6.

McClellan, a freshman from Delevan, Wis., has won her second swimmer of the week award. She set season-best times in all events she competed in last weekend at the Iowa Hawkeye Invitational. McClellan took second-place out of 32 participants in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.99) and placed fourth out of 30 competitors in the 200 breaststroke (2:19.01) along with a 200 Individual Medley time of 2:09.04. She also helped the Panther’s to season-best times in the 200 and 400 Medley Relays.

Cummings, a junior from Farmington Hills, Mich., has won her first diver of the week award for the season and made the NCAA zone cut in the 3-Meter diving event. Cleveland State hosted the City College Meet where Cummings recorded a 264.90 in the 1-Meter dive and tallied a 296 in the 3-Meter dive, good for second-place in the conference.

Cleveland State is off until January 14, 2011 when it hosts Notre Dame. Milwaukee is also off the rest of the year and is scheduled to compete on January 22 at UIC.
