INDIANAPOLIS -- Wright State guard Tay’ler Mingo (Akron, Ohio) has been named the Horizon League women’s basketball Player of the Week and Green Bay guard Tesha Buck (Red Wing, Minn.) has been named Freshman of the Week.

Mingo had a game-high 24 points in Wright State’s 79-54 win over Xavier on Sunday. The junior guard scored the final five points of the first half to give the Raiders a 15-point halftime lead and Xavier never got closer than nine points the rest of the way. She finished the game 8-of-11 from the field, including 2-of-3 from three-point range. Mingo added a game-high seven assists, while also pulling down four rebounds and recording one blocked shot.

The Raiders (8-3) are back in action this week when they host the Wright State Invitational Presented by Holiday Inn. WSU opens on Friday with Gardner-Webb at 7 p.m. and will play either Bradley or Lipscomb on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

Buck won the Freshman of the Week award for the third time this season after scoring a career- and game-high 17 points in Green Bay’s loss to Wichita State on Sunday. She was 5-of-7 from three point range in the game and added a career-high seven rebounds in the contest.

Buck’s performance on Sunday pushed her season-average to 10.3 points per game. She is the only freshman in the League to average double-figures in scoring and continues to pace the conference with a 2.85 assist-turnover ratio.

The Phoenix (6-3) host #18/23 Purdue on Wednesday in the Kress Events Center at 8 p.m. ET

Top Performers for the Week:
Ellisha Crosby, Detroit (Jr., F) - Crosby posted a collegiate-high 33 points against Eastern Michigan on Sunday. She had 19 points in the first half and 14 in the second as her 33 points were the second-most by a Horizon League player this season. She also recorded a team-high 10 rebounds for her team-best fifth double-double of the season.
Imani Gordon, Cleveland State (Jr., F) - Gordon was one rebound shy of her third double-double this season with 19 points and nine rebounds against VCU on Sunday.
Sharon Karungi, Valparaiso (Jr., F) - Karungi scored 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds for the Crusaders on Friday against Butler. She has scored 11 or more points in six of the last seven games and has led VU in rebounding in five of the last six games.
Elena Popkey, Oakland (Jr., G) - Popkey led OU with 15 points and six assists in the Golden Grizzlies game against Michigan State on Sunday.
Angela Rodriguez, Milwaukee (Sr., G) - Rodriguez led the Panthers by averaging 16.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games for UWM last week. She added 15 assists against just five turnovers in the two contests.

Top Freshman for the Week:
Jenna Hirsch, Youngstown State (Fr., G) - Hirsch scored 15 points while making her first career start. She added five assists and just one turnover playing the point guard position.
Khayla Livingston, Cleveland State (Fr., G) - Livingston had eight points, two assists and one steal in 19 minutes of action against VCU.
Reyna Montgomery, Detroit (Fr., G) - Montgomery tallied a season-high 11 points, hitting all five of her shots from the field. She added two rebounds and a steal in just 10 minutes of action.
Sydney Snower, Milwaukee (Fr., G) - Snower averaged 6.0 points per game in UWM’s two games last week and made 40% of her three-point field goal attempts.
