Miss Milwaukee Uses Platform to Aid Substance-Abuse Victims

Last September, Rosalie Smith had the opportunity to represent Wisconsin in the Miss America Pageant. The undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is also a member of the Panther Dance Team, performing at basketball games throughout the season.

A Pre-Nursing student at Milwaukee, she plans to become a nurse in the Pediatric Oncology unit of a Children’s Hospital. After a few years of work, Rosalie will then return to school to earn her Nurse Practitioner License.  As a freshman during the 2014-2015 school year, she was also a member of the Milwaukee Panther Dance Team, experiencing some of her most favorite memories as a dancer thus far.
