Last Thursday, the Wright State Raiders hosted "Halloween Hoops," a chance for fans to get an early look the men's and women's basketball teams.

Nearly 3,000 fans turned out for treats, fun...and some basketball as well. The night started at 5:30 with a couple "chalk talks" by both the men's and women's head coaches. Afterward, the team signed autographs while other Raiders athletes passed out candy.

The bigger events came afterward, when the teams hit the court. After a couple scrimmages, a shooting contest, and a slam dunk contest for the men's team (won by Senior Todd Brown), both teams reappeared on the court with a different look. Dressed in full costume, the men's and women's teams combined to perform a rendition of Michael Jackson's Thriller.

Don't act like you're not impressed...

I doubt these practices took precedent over actual basketball, but I'd love to see more from this group!!! You can read more about the entire event by clicking here.
