Morgan Smith named League Golfer of the Week

Senior Morgan Smith has been named the Horizon League Golfer of the Week.  The announcement was released Wednesday afternoon.

Morgan Smith/Oakland/Senior/Muskegon, Mich.

Smith was a perfect 4-0 in match play last week at the Mid American Match Play Challenge in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Her all-time career match play record at Oakland finished at 7-1.

She helped lead the Golden Grizzlies to a fourth place finish in the 12 team invitational, an improvement from last year’s 8th place finish.
