Men's Basketball Scoreboard (Oct. 29)
Oakland 76, Tiffin 52

In the lone men's basketball exhibition of the night, Oakland broke in a new logo in its paint and on its uniforms, rolling past visiting Tiffin, 76-52, at the Athletics Center O'rena. The game was the first for the Golden Grizzlies as members of the Horizon League.

Tommie McCune scored a game-high 22 points and Travis Bader added 13 as the Golden Grizzlies outscored the Dragons 17-3 from the free-throw line.

Duke Mondy tallied 11 points and a game-high six steals for the Golden Grizzlies. Kahlil Felder posted a team-best five assists, adding nine points and four rebounds in 30 minutes of action.

Oakland led for almost the entire game and took its largest lead of the game, 30 points, with just over one minute left in the game. The Golden Grizzlies outrebounded Tiffin, 46-38.

Ashton Khan was the only Tiffin player in double figures, scoring 11 points in 22 minutes.

OU will host Lake Superior State in the final exhibition game on Sunday at 4 p.m. All preseason games are free admission.

Horizon League teams will return to exhibition play on Thursday, Oct. 31, when Milwaukee hosts Marian at 8 p.m. ET.
