Oakland to Appear in 30th EA Sports Maui Invitational

MAUI, Hawaii – Oakland University will take part in the 30^th Annual EA Sports Maui Invitational, ESPN announced this morning. The Golden Grizzlies will be one of four teams taking part in the mainland edition of the tournament.

Oakland, which will be participating under the Horizon League banner for the first time, will play at California (Nov. 15) and at Gonzaga (Nov. 17) before the four-team mainland tournament begins on Nov. 23.

The Golden Grizzlies will meet Louisiana in their first game from Conway, S.C., on the campus of Coastal Carolina University. Oakland will face the host Chanticleers or St. Francis Brooklyn on Nov. 24.
