INDIANAPOLIS -- Oakland junior Patricia Aschan added CollegeSwimming.com's Conference Swimmer of the Week to her accolades on Tuesday, shortly after being named the Horizon League Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Winning three events against Toledo on Jan. 9, Aschan led the Golden Grizzlies to a victory over the Rockets for the first time since 2004 by winning the 200 back with a time of 2:04.72; the 200 fly in 2:06.57 and the 400 IM in 4:28.30. The reigning Horizon League Female Swimmer of the Year has nine individual event wins this season and has won three individual events in a meet for the second time this year. This is her first weekly award from CollegeSwimming.com and the third given to a member of the Oakland women's swimming and diving team, who are 5-1 in dual meets this year, with a 3-0 Horizon League record.

Both the Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete in a two-day quad meet Jan. 15-16 against Cincinnati, Kenyon College and Olivet Nazarene in Gambier, Ohio at the Kenyon Aquatic Center.
