Horizon League Track & Field Athletes of the Week (Week 7)

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee juniors Isaiah Adams and Quinn Mongoven have been named Horizon League Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week for the period of March 23-29, while Milwaukee senior Holly Nearman and Loyola University Chicago sophomore Jordan Rohlfing have earned women's accolades.

Adams, a native of Milwaukee, receives the Men's Running Events honor after winning the 400 meter (48.64) at the Spring Classic in Carbondale, Ill. He also ran a leg of Milwaukee's 4x100 relay (41.70), which claimed first place at the event.

Mongoven, a native of Twin Lakes, Wis., picks up the Men's Field Events award after winning the high jump (2.10 meters) at the Spring Classic. His leap tied a school record and qualified for NCAA Regionals.

Nearman, a native of Monroe, Wis., receives the Women's Running Events honor after breaking Milwaukee's school record in the 5,000 meter (16:42.51) at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. Her time also qualified for NCAA Regionals.

Rohlfing, a native of Omaha, Neb., picks up the Women's Field Events award after registering first-place finishes in the shot put (10.72 meters) and discus (35.19 m) at the Viking Classic in Chicago, Ill. She also placed third in the hammer throw (41.57 m) and fourth in the javelin (24.40 m).

Milwaukee returns to action on Friday/Saturday at the Florida Relays (Gainesville, Fla.) and on Saturday at the Big Blue Classic (Charleston, Ill.). Loyola heads back to competition on Friday/Saturday at the Duke Invitational (Durham, N.C.).
