Men's Athlete of the Week
Jeremy Majors, UW-Milwaukee, Sophomore, Jonesborrow, Ga.
Majors qualified for the NCAA Regionals in the 800-meter at the Billy Hayes Invitational last Friday. Majors placed third in the event, finishing behind just one other collegiate runner. He ran a time of 1:49.41 to come almost a second under the qualifying time of 1:50.40.

Women's Athlete of the Week
Kara Henry, Butler, Sophomore, Elmhurst, Ill.
Henry qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the 3,000- meter steeplechase while winning the event at the Butler Twilight Meet. She finished the race in 10:51.55. Henry will join teammate Victoria Mitchell in the steeplechase at the regional competition in Bloomington, Ind.

Other Top Men's Performers
Chris Smith, Butler, Sophomore, Chagrin Falls, Ohio
Smith won the men's 1500-meter run at the Butler Twilight Meet with a time of 3:53.45, and he placed second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.16. He was edged at the wire in the 800, missing first place by just 0:00.16.

Dan Zinser, Detroit, Junior, Roseville, Mich.
Zinser ran the first sub-four minute 1500 in six years. Zinser's new pace of 3:57.76 was a personal record for him and is the fifth fastest time in school history.

Joshua McNabb, UIC, Freshman, Chicago, Ill.
McNabb captured the triple jump title with a season-best leap of 13.25 meters to lead the men's track and field squad at the Butler Twilight Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

R.D. Goodright, Youngstown State, Freshman, Wooster, Ohio
Goodright ran a time of 4:08.47 to place fourth in the 1500-meters at the Campbell/Wright Invitational on Saturday.

Other Top Women's Performers
Andrea Karl, Detroit, Junior, Casco, Mich.
Karl broke the school record in the 1500-meters with her time of 4:29.43 at the Len Paddock Invitational this past weekend at Michigan. Karl broke Ruthie Cook's old record of 4:31.36 that was set in 2002 and placed third overall at the meet.

Jessica Fouche, UIC, Junior, Chicago, Ill.
Fouche won the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.95 to lead the women's track and field squad at the Butler Twilight Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Katie Slamka, UW-Milwaukee, Junior, Racine, Wis.
At the Wisconsin Twilight, Slamka led the Panthers with a win in the 100-meter hurdles and a third-place finish in the javelin. In the 100-meter hurdles, she set a personal record with the winning time of 14.65, the fourth-fastest time in school history. She also set a personal best in the javelin, throwing 112'10" for third.

Jeanna Cunningham, Youngstown State, Junior, Warren, Ohio
Cunningham set the school record in the 400-meter dash with a first place time of 55.28 at the Campbell/Wright Invitational on Saturday. She also ran a season-best 24.81 in the 200-meter to place sixth.
