2007 Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships

IUPUI's Michael A. Carroll Stadium will host the 2007 Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, starting Thursday, May 10 and competition continues through Friday, May 11.

The UW-Milwaukee men will look to claim their fourth-straight outdoor title as the Panthers return several individual champions.  UWM's Trentin Edwards stands at the top of the League performance charts in the 100 and 200 this spring, after he claimed titles last season.

Youngstown State edged out UW-Milwaukee a year ago to take the women's championship.  The Penguins are led by Bethany Anderson who will try to defend her individual titles in the shot put and hammer throw.

Loyola's Marcia Faustin will try to complete a sweep of the high jump at the League Championships.  Faustin has won seven straight Horizon League individual high jump titles from the indoor and outdoor seasons.  She currently leads the League performance charts after setting a mark of 5'8.75" this past weekend to qualify for the NCAA Regionals.

Highlights of the Championships can be seen free on the Horizon League Network and will become available as soon as possible.
