Pearson, Tabbert Sweep Weekly Golf Honors

HORIZON LEAGUE GOLF ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Aaron Pearson, Green Bay
Senior - Madison, Wis.
Pearson claimed medalist honors at Loyola's Caputo Invitational April 13-14 in Chicago. The senior fired a 149 (77-72), helping Green Bay to the team title in the 7-team event. Pearson won the event by five strokes, and the Phoenix finished 16 strokes ahead of runner-up Notre Dame.

Katie Tabbert, Green Bay
Freshman - Onalaska, Wis.
Tabbert tied for first 47 competitors at the Loyola Invitational April 12-13 in Chicago. The freshman shot 151 (73-78) to help the Phoenix to fourth among eight teams in the event. IUPUI's Lauren Kuss also shot a 151 in the tournament.
