Valparaiso’s Alec Peters scored 30 points and moved past Bryce Drew to become the school’s all-time leading scorer during the Crusader’s dominating win against UIC. With the victory, Valpo improves to 16-4, 6-1 in the Horizon League and sits alone in first place.  Wright State won its third straight game and moved to 5-3 in league play with an impressive win against Oakland. Parker Ernsthausen scored a career-high 24 points off of the bench for the Raiders, who also received 24 points from Mark Alstork. Northern Kentucky’s Mason Faulkner posted a game-high 29 points off the bench to lead the Norse past Detroit Mercy. Milwaukee rallied from a nine-point deficit with 6:32 to play to force overtime and pull away from Youngstown State to earn its second consecutive Horizon League win.

at Valparaiso 96, UIC 65*
VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Alec Peters scored 30 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and became Valparaiso's all-time leading scorer in a 96-65 victory over Illinois-Chicago on Sunday. Peters entered needing just seven points to break Bryce Drew's 19-year-old program record. Last time out, Peters grabbed a career-best 16 rebounds to break Valpo's career rebounding record.

After a timeout, he was given the game ball and was greeted by Valparaiso president Mark Heckler, director of athletics Mark LaBarbera and coach Matt Lottich.

Peters needed 125 games to break the record, which was set in 121 games, but he has played 300 fewer minutes than Drew.

at Wright State 88, Oakland 67*
DAYTON, Ohio -- Parker Ernsthausen scored a career-high 24 points off the bench and the Wright State men's basketball hit 11 threes and 25 of 30 foul shots in defeating Oakland 88-67 Sunday afternoon in Horizon League action at the Wright State Nutter Center.
An 11-0 run erased an early two-point deficit and gave the Raiders the lead for good at 16-7.  WSU then extended the margin to 29-17 with a 10-1 burst, six coming from Mark Alstork, and the lead remained in double figures the remainder of the half, with Wright State going into the break up 42-30.

at Northern Kentucky 101, Detroit Mercy 87*
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball team cruised to a 101-87 victory over Detroit Mercy on Sunday afternoon behind Mason Faulkner's career-high 29 points that included a 23-point second-half performance at BB&T Arena.

Northern Kentucky improves to 13-8 overall and 4-4 in the Horizon League while the Titans dip to 4-16 overall and 2-6 in League play.

The victory also gives NKU 13 wins this season to tie its Division-I era record set in the 2014-15 season as a member of the Atlantic Sun. The Norse also improve to 7-2 at home.

at Milwaukee 94, Youngstown State 85 (OT)*
MILWAUKEE - Career-highs in scoring from Cody Wichmann and Brett Prahl led the Milwaukee men's basketball team to a 94-85 victory in overtime against Youngstown State Sunday afternoon at UWM Panther Arena.

The Panthers (7-14, 3-5 Horizon League) overcame a nine-point deficit with 6:32 to play, forcing overtime against the Penguins (9-13, 3-6 Horizon League) on Prahl's layup with 2.1 seconds remaining in regulation.
