INDIANAPOLIS -- Milwaukee and Wright State each evened their records on the early year, with both programs tallying double-digit wins on Wednesday night.  Green Bay, in head coach Brian Wardle's return to his alma mater, fell at Marquette in the opening round of the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic.

Wright State's Billy Donlon collected his first career win, as the Raiders stormed past Northwood, 75-55, at the Nutter Center.  The Raiders shot over 50 percent for the game, knocking down 27-of-52 attempts in putting three players in double figures.

Troy Tabler led the way with a game-high 17 points, while Vaughn Duggins and Matt Vest each added 11 points.  All 10 players who touched the court for Wright State also tallied points, as the Raiders dominated the paint, outscoring Northwood, 32-18.

Up four early, Tabler keyed a 13-0 run, scoring seven points during the outburst to help put the Raiders up 26-9, with 8:10 to go in the half.  The Raiders would not let Northwood come with 10 points the rest of the game.

In their BracketBusters return game, the Milwaukee Panthers dominated the second half and cruised to a 90-73 win over Niagara at the Taps Gallagher Center.  The Panthers shot 48.5-percent from the floor, connecting on 33 field-goal attempts and 8-of-19 three-pointers.  After traveling over 5,000 miles from Milwaukee to Portland to Niagara, the Panthers refused to fade in the game's final 20 minutes, outscoring the Purple Hawks, 42-28, in the second half.

Three starters finished in double figures for the Panthers, led by Tone Boyle, who posted a career-high 27 points, hitting five three-pointers in the process.  Boyle and Tony Meier combined to hit all eight three-pointers, with Meier finishing with 17 points to match his career-best output.

Ryan Allen came off the bench to finish with 15 points, while Anthony Hill added 12, as Milwaukee opened the second half with a 10-0 run, turning a three-point halftime lead into a 13-point bulge, eventually leading by as many as 21.

In Brian Wardle's return to his alma mater, Marquette was not kind to the alumnus, as the Phoenix's record was evened at 1-1 following an 89-69 loss to the Golden Eagles at the Bradley Center.  Wardle, who played and coached at Marquette, saw the Golden Eagles shot over 50 percent from the floor in the game, while the Phoenix hit just 35-percent of their attempts from the floor.

Returning to his hometown of Milwaukee, Bryquis Perine led all scorers with 21 points, knocking down 6-of-15 shots, including 3-of-6 from long range.  Steve Baker added 11 for Green Bay.  Marquette overcame Perine's effort by putting six players into double figures and outscoring Green Bay, 52-22, in the paint.
