INDIANAPOLIS -- Wright State University sophomore Shaunda Sandifer and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee junior Lauren Felsing have been named Horizon League Volleyball Players of the Week for the period of Nov. 3-9.

A native of Calumet City, Ill., Sandifer picks up Offensive Player of the Week accolades after helping Wright State to a four-set upset of Dayton (18-25, 29-27, 25-22, 25-23) on Saturday. The Flyers entered the affair 19-8 overall and 10-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Sandifer led the Horizon League in points per set (5.00) last week while ranking second in kills per set (4.25) and sixth in hitting percentage (.387). The middle blocker recorded a team-high 20 points on 17 kills and three solo blocks against Dayton.

Sandifer leads all sophomores in the conference with a .289 hitting percentage (257 K, 87 E, 588 TA) this season and places second overall.

The Raiders, 14-14 overall and 9-5 in league play, have now won eight of their last 10 matches.

A native of Hartland, Wis., Felsing notches Defensive Player of the Week honors after helping Milwaukee to a three-set victory over Cleveland State (25-19, 25-19, 25-17) on Friday and four-set win over Youngstown State (22-25, 25-18, 25-19, 26-24) on Saturday.

Felsing led the Horizon League in digs per set (5.43) last week. The libero managed 13 against the Vikings before collecting 25 more vs. the Penguins.

Felsing leads all juniors in the conference with 5.21 digs per set (542 digs, 104 sets) this season and places third overall.

The Panthers, 18-8 overall and 11-3 in league play, have now won eight of their last 11 matches.

Wright State returns to the court on Friday with a 7 p.m. (ET) match at Butler. Milwaukee gets back to the hardwood on Friday with an 8 p.m. contest at UIC.
