INDIANAPOLIS -- University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee sophomore Sarah Hagen has been named Horizon League Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the period of Sept. 14-20.

Hagen, a native of Appleton, Wis., scored Milwaukee's only goals last week -- one on Friday at 11th-ranked Purdue University and the other on Sunday at the University of Illinois.

The Horizon League's 2008 Newcomer of the Year ranks among League leaders in shots per contest (1st, 5.00), points per game (2nd, 1.10), goals per match (3rd, 0.40) and assists per game (5th, 0.30) through 10 tilts this season.

The Panthers own a 2-5-3 non-conference record, but have already played seven Big Ten Conference opponents and two Big East Conference foes.

Milwaukee returns to action on Friday when it hosts Loyola University Chicago at 8 p.m. ET.
