INDIANAPOLIS -- University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee sophomore Sarah Hagen has been named Horizon League Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the period of Oct. 5-11. Hagen wins the award for a fourth consecutive week and the seventh time in her career.

Hagen, a forward from Appleton, Wis., recorded five goals in a pair of home triumphs last week. She helped Milwaukee post an 8-0 win over Cleveland State University on Friday and a 6-1 victory over Youngstown State University on Sunday.

Hagen tallied her second straight hat trick against CSU and netted two more scores vs. YSU. She owns a League-best four multi-goal performances on the campaign and has tied her own school record with at least one goal in seven straight contests.

The Horizon League's 2008 Newcomer of the Year ranks among the League leaders in shots per contest (1st, 5.33), points per game (1st, 2.40), goals per match (1st, 1.07) and assists per game (T-5th, 0.27) through 15 tilts this season.

The Panthers, who played seven Big Ten Conference opponents and two Big East Conference foes earlier this season, own a 7-5-3 overall record and 5-0-0 League mark.

Milwaukee returns to action on Friday when it travels to the University of Detroit Mercy at 3 p.m. ET.
