OMAHA, Neb. – Nine current or former Horizon League student-athletes will be among those vying for a place on the United States Olympic Swimming Team at the team trials June 26-July 3 at CenturyLink Center.

Three student-athletes will compete on the opening day of the meet, as Ryan Korslin (Green Bay), Devon Nowicki (Oakland) and Kile Aukerman (Wright State) will all swim in the 100 breaststroke.

Nowicki and Auckerman will also swim in the 200 breast on Wednesday, June 29. Auckerman’s final event will be the 200 individual medley on Thursday, June 30.

The Horizon League record holder in the women’s 100 and 200 breaststrokes, Milwaukee’s Emily McClellan will look to claim a spot on the Olympic team in both events, swimming on Monday, June 27 and the 30th. McClellan will be joined in the events by Rachel Waite (Oakland), who claimed the 2016 Horizon League titles in both events.

Also on Monday, Mitch Stover (Wright State) will take to the pool to compete in the 100 backstroke. The League record holder in the 200 IM, Stover will join his former teammate Aukerman in the pool on June 30.

The UIC duo of Brian Anderson and Steve Yemm will compete on Friday, July 1. The 2011 UIC graduates, Anderson will swim in the 50 free, while Yemm will take part in the 100 butterfly.

On the penultimate day of the trials, Milwaukee’s Mandie Siehs will take to the pool to compete in the 50 freestyle sprint.

Each day of the trials, prelims will begin 11 a.m. EDT. Finals will begin at 7:45 p.m. EDT.

NBC Sports will live stream the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials beginning on June 26 and continuing through July 3. NBC's comprehensive live streaming from the Trials will include all of the prelims and finals sessions.
