INDIANAPOLIS—Cleveland State’s Philipp Sikatzki (Strongsville, Ohio) and Youngstown State’s Viktoria Orosz (Budapest, Hungary) have been named the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Swimmers of the Week while Milwaukee’s K.J. Heger (Rockford, Ill.) and UIC’s Whitney Johnson (Roscoe, Ill.) have been named Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Divers of the Week for the week of Feb. 4-9.

Sikatzki collects his second weekly honor this season as the Vikings competed against UIC and Notre Dame this past weekend in dual meets. The sophomore won each of his five different individual events over the two competitions. At UIC, Sikatzki won the 100-backstroke with a time of 49.91, the 200-backstroke with a 1:51.68 finish and the 100-butterfly hitting the mat at 49.36. The following day at Notre Dame, the sophomore placed-first in the 50-freestyle with a time of 20.79 and the 100-freestyle clocking in at 45.49. Sikatzki currently ranks in the top-60 nationally in the 100-backstroke and 100-butterfly events.

Orosz tabs her third League accolade this week after Youngstown State closed out its regular season in a dual meet against Bowling Green. The freshman brought home three individual event victories while also anchoring the winning 200-freestyle relay. Orosz won the 200-freestyle with a time of 1:52.41, the 100-freestyle finishing at 52.89 and the 500-freestyle hitting the mat at 5:06.92. She dominated her races, winning the 100-freestyle by almost four seconds and the 500-freestyle by five seconds.

Heger swept the diving boards in Milwaukee’s dual meet against in-state rival Wisconsin to earn him his ninth weekly honor of the season. The senior finished in first-place on the 1-meter board with a score of 328.27 to tab NCAA Zone scores. Heger broke his own school and pool record in the 3-meter with a score of 379.65. This is the fifth time in his career that he has broken a 3-meter record.

Johnson led UIC in the diving competition facing Cleveland State last Friday. To obtain her third accolade this season, the senior scored 289.73 points in the 1-meter competition and completed the board sweep with another win on the 1-meter with a total of 284.55.

Cleveland State, Youngstown State, Milwaukee and UIC have concluded regular season action and will all next compete at the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships February 25-28 at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wis.
