- Eight regulars in the CSU line-up are batting .294 or better as the Vikings are hitting .340 as a team. A trio of sophomores are pacing the offense, with Amanda Houchin leading the way at .388, followed closely by Christa Coppus (.386) and Haley Keller (.382).

- Freshman Jill Perry has been a pleasant surprise thus far in 2007. The first left-handed pitcher in head coach Bob Wilkerson's 11-year tenure at Detroit, Perry is leading the team in strike out to walk ratio. Jamie Perkins threw a five-inning one-hitter in the opener as she faced the minimum 15 batters with three strikeouts. Ten different Wright State players drove in at least one run on the day, led by pinch-hitter Ashley Davis' three-run triple and Michelle Logan's three RBI, and 12 different Raiders scored at least one run.
