HLN Student Section Challenge!

Dear Horizon League Students,

My name is Mike and I am in search of the No. 1 Men's Basketball Student Section in the Horizon League.

After talking with numerous players, fans and faculty, every school thinks they have the best student section in the conference, so let's settle this argument once and for all!

Throughout the rest of the 2009-10 season, I will be visiting each campus for one game (view schedule below) to evaluate just how much of an impact your student section is actually making.

Once I have visited each arena, my HLN cronies and I will determine which student section deserves the inaugural traveling trophy and the title of the No. 1 Student Section in the Horizon League! Criteria will be: Enthusiasm – Originality – Good Sportsmanship – Overall Atmospheric Impact.

With that said, there is a bonus built into this challenge for one lucky fan. During my trip to your campus, I will choose one individual to be the representative of your student section and let's just say the crazier, the better! This person will be rewarded with a $50 dollar gift card and an on-camera interview, moments before the second half begins, to be featured on my blog the next day, which will recap my experiences.

In addition to your 15 minutes of fame, this person will be put in to a drawing for the HLN Premium Prize Pack, which includes two tickets and hotel accommodations to the Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship Finale on March 9. The winner will be announced live on March. 1 along with the League's winning student section.

In conclusion, I want to know who will step up to this challenge? Who will win the first ever No. 1 Student Section Trophy?
