MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Lang helped the Raiders to victory over League foe Cleveland State as he set a WSU pool record in the 500-yard freestyle with a League-leading time of 4:33.16. He also posted a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:42.72.

Weidert improved to 6-0 in the 200-yard breaststroke this season, winning the event against CSU with a time of 2:23.82. She also posted a victory in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:09.49.

Baiko swept the diving events for the sixth time this season, winning the one-meter event with a score of 288.15 and posting 330.60 in the three-meter to complete the sweep.

FEMALE DIVER OF THE WEEK

Helland won both of her diving events in a victory over League foe Butler, claiming the one-meter event with a score of 242.40, and then posting a winning score of 255.30 on the three-meter board. Her three-meter score was 48 points ahead of the runner-up.

In only his second meet as a Viking, Gasparin won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:08.49 against Wright State.

Adam Jajtner

Jajtner won three races against Eastern Illinois, taking the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:12.72) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:56.93) with season-best times, and winning the 400-yard individual medley (4:23.91) by over three seconds.

Kurtis Malone

Fr., Pekin, Ill.

Malone turned in a season-best score of 234.40 in the one-meter event, on his way to victory against Eastern Illinois.

Elizabeth Shafer

Shafer swam to a second-place finish with her 2:26.01 in the 200-yard individual medley against Green Bay before notching a team-best time of 1:07.19 in the 100-yard butterfly. Shafer also anchored the third-place 200-yard medley relay team.

Katie Bellew

Jr., Talassee, Ala.

Bellew earned two runner-up finishes against Wright State, posting a season-best time in the 200-yard butterfly (2:14.10) and a time of 2:35.13 in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Trish Simon

Simon won the one-meter event with a score of 200.92 against WSU. It was her first victory this season on the one-meter board.

Kelsey Hausken

Hausken helped the Phoenix to their eighth-consecutive dual meet victory by winning the 50-yard freestyle (24.72) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.07). She also helped her teammates win the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:53.29.

Krause helped the Crusaders to victory against Eastern Illinois as she won both the 100 (53.95) and 200-yard freestyle (2:02.05) events. She also helped the victorious 400-yard medley relay team post a time of 4:06.15.

Anna Orwick

So., Broadlands, Ill.

Orwick earned a victory on the one-meter board with a collegiate-best score of 210.70.

Stevi Dimasso

So., Cincinnati, Ohio

Dimasso won the three-meter diving event against CSU with a score of 227.78, her best mark of the season. She also earned second-place in the one-meter event, scoring 190.58.

Olivia Arnold
Youngstown State
Jr., Rutherglen, Australia

Arnold won three individual events in a double-dual over the weekend, taking the 500-yard freestyle (5:21.91), the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:53.97) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:33.85).
