MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Gravengood had a great weekend, winning all five of his individual events and both relays he participated in to lead the Panthers to dual victories over South Dakota State and Valparaiso. On Friday (Dec. 7), he won the 200-yard individual medley (1:53.98) and the 200-yard breaststroke with a season-best 2:08.96. The following day, he won the 100-yard butterfly in a pool-record-setting time of 50.78, as well as the 200 fly (1:53.72) and the 400 IM (4:07.17).

Finn won all four of her individual events over the weekend, leading Milwaukee past South Dakota State and Valparaiso. She took home victories in the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.28) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:06.47) against SDSU while also contributing to the winning 400-yard medley relay team. On Saturday (Dec. 8), Finn swept the butterfly events, winning the 100 in 59.32 and the 200 in 2:06.76.

Kuntz won all four events over two dual meets last weekend, leading the Phoenix to victories against Valparaiso and South Dakota State. On Friday, he claimed both the one-meter (262.65) and the three-meter (273.50) titles against Valpo, and did the same against SDSU the next day, posting 267.00 in the one-meter event, and 243.40 on the three-meter board.

Hall continues to dominate her competition, as she swept the diving events in both dual meets last weekend, giving her 12 victories in 16 attempts. She recorded winning totals of 248.55 and 248.40 on the one-meter against South Dakota State and Valparaiso, respectively. Her three-meter scores were both zone-qualifying performances, as she posted marks of 286.88 against SDSU on Friday, and 280.73 against Valpo on Saturday.

Hill won all five individual events in which he competed last weekend, each a different race. Against Valparaiso on Friday (Dec. 7), he won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.04) and the 1000-yard freestyle (9:54.10) before posting victories in the 400-yard individual medley (4:15.50), the 100-yard freestyle (47.29) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:50.43) against South Dakota State on Saturday (Dec. 8).

Nick DeWitt

Fr., Two Rivers, Wis.
DeWitt earned the first two victories of his collegiate career last weekend, winning the three-meter competition against South Dakota State (225.68) and against Valpo with a season-best 270.08. He also earned second-place in the one-meter event on Friday, missing the title by just 1.5 points.

Adam Jajtner

Jajtner finished second in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:22.39) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:58.06) in the dual against Green Bay, and third in the 200-yard butterfly (2:10.56). Against Milwaukee on Saturday, Jajtner finished third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.76), while recording times of 4:57.95 in the 500 free, and 4:31.47 in the 400-yard individual medley.

Kurtis Malone

Fr., Pekin, Ill.
Malone turned in one-meter scores of 214.60 against Green Bay on Friday and 187.13 against Milwaukee on Saturday. On the three-meter board, he recorded a 166.05 against the Phoenix and 208.88 against the Panthers.

Sr., Kiel, Wis.
Doute had three first-place finishes and a runner-up showing in four individual events last weekend. Against Valpo on Friday (Dec. 7), she had a team-best three wins in the 100-yard freestyle (53.70), the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.62), and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:25.43). She came back against South Dakota State on Saturday (Dec. 8), earning second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:19.37) and swimming on two victorious relays.

Kari Helland
Green Bay
Sr., Wayzata, Minn.
Helland earned three victories and a runner-up finish last weekend. She posted wins in the one-meter (240.20) and three-meter (245.25) events against Valpo on Friday. She then won the one-meter (239.50) and placed second on the three-meter board (228.95) against SDSU on Saturday.

Jaclyn Krause
Valparaiso
So., Rochester, Mich.
Krause was a member of the school-record-setting 400-yard medley relay team that won with a time of 4:03.77 against Green Bay on Friday. She also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (53.88) and third in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.98). Against Milwaukee the next day, Krause won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.99, recorded a 5:23.85 in the 500-yard freestyle, and was a member of the runner-up 200-yard medley relay team (1:51.03).

Anna Orwick
Valparaiso
So., Broadlands, Ill.
Orwick scored 168.85 on the one-meter board and 166.05 in the three-meter event against Green Bay. She improved both scores the following day against Milwaukee, posting 205.58 on the one-meter, and 167.25 on the three-meter.
