INDIANAPOLIS - MEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

At the St. Bonaventure Fall Classic, Emig came back to win from down a set in two singles matches, winning at No. 1 singles against St. Francis (Pa.) 4-6, 6-2, 8-6 and at No. 3 singles against the University of Buffalo, 4-6, 6-4, 8-6. He also teamed with Chris Leson to defeat the St. Francis duo 8-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Bjerrehus went undefeated in her collegiate debut for the Vikings, winning both the No. 3 singles and the No. 1 doubles flight at the Titan Invitational. Her victories included a 7-5, 6-2 sweep of Detroit's Aneta Maricevic, and an 8-4 doubles win over Detroit's Annie Moore and Zejlka Minic with teammate Charlotte Gibbons.

Bayliss scored three victories in the singles back draw of the Hoosier Flight at the Hoosier Invitational last weekend. He finished the weekend by defeating his foe from Xavier 7-5, 6-2 in the final to bring his tournaent singles record to 3-1.

Minic got off to a strong start in fall play, taking top honors in the #2 singles flight at the Titans Fall Invitational. She posted a perfect 3-0 record in singles, including a 7-6(5), 6-7(7) 10-8 victory over Cleveland State's Melissa Holzinger. She also posted a 1-2 record at No. 1 doubles with partner Annie Moore.

Fr., Green Bay, Wis.
Weuve went 3-0 in the "B" singles flight at the Bradley Invitational, including a 6-1, 6-2 victory over her foe from Bradley and a 6-3, 6-0 sweep of her opponent from Eastern Illinois. She also teamed with Emily Lawent to post a 2-1 record in the "A" doubles flight.

Schonemamn went a perfect 3-0 in both singles and doubles at the Bradley Invitational last weekend. She also added a doubles victory against UW-Whitewater.

Kim Sajevic
Valparaiso
Sr., Woodbury, Minn.
Sajevic posted a 1-1 record last week at the No. 1 singles position, winning 6-4, 6-2 against Oakland, before dropping her match against Wayne State 6-3, 6-1.
