Hamning posted wins at the No. 1 singles position and as part of the No. 1 doubles squad to boost his team to a 4-3 victory over Xavier. He defeated Chris Herrlinger 7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-3 after teaming with Phil Orno to eke out victory in their doubles match, 9-8 (4).

Junior Zeljka Minic put in an admirable effort to try to help her team past Eastern Michigan last weekend. She teamed with Annie Moore at the No. 1 doubles position to clinch the doubles point for UDM. Then, at the No. 5 singles spot, she posted a 6-4, 7-6(4) win to even the team score at 3-3 before EMU pulled out the final match of the day.

Raynauld scored the Bulldog's only singles victory in last week's four matches against Big Ten schools, taking a three-set victory at the No. 1 singles position against Slavko Bijelica of Purdue (6-4, 6-7 (6-8), 10-7).

After falling behind in the first set of his singles match, Lystad nabbed his first victory of the season, defeating Luka Marinkovic of Illinois State 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 at the No. 1 singles position.

Holzinger teamed with Denisa Muntean to defeat the No. 3 team from Toledo 8-5 before notching victory at the No. 1 singles spot 6-3, 6-2.

Christine Antrobus

Antrobus won the first collegiate match of her career, 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 6 singles position against Eastern Illinois.

Emily Thayer
Youngstown State
Senior, Charleston, W.Va.

Despite extending both of her weekend singles matches to three sets, Thayer ultimately lost both in tiebreakers, first to a foe from Bowling Green 7-6, 8-6, 6-2 and then to Toledo's Jenny Belsky 5-7, 6-1, 10-6.
