Orno posted a 4-0 record last week, winning one match apiece at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles and doubles positions. First, he teamed with Chris Klepatz to beat St. Bonaventure's No. 2 doubles team 8-5, and then won at No. 1 singles (6-3, 6-1). The following day, he and teammate Ryan Hamning downed Niagara's top doubles duo 8-5 before Orno swept his competitor 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 2 slot.

Freshman Melissa Holzinger was 2-0 at the No. 1 singles position last week, and 2-0 at the No. 2 doubles spot. Against St. Bonaventure, she posted a 6-1, 6-1 victory in singles after winning her doubles match with teammate Morgan Ungerott 8-1. She then went on to defeat the No. 1 foe from Niagara 6-2, 6-2, and joined partner Denisa Muntean, for an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Lystad led the Flames at the top spot in singles and doubles last weekend. He paired with teammed Bastian Harbo to defeat Wayne State's top doubles team 9-7. He then went on to victory in singles 7-6, 6-7, 10-6.

Tom Litscher

Sophomore, Eau Claire, Wis.
Litscher recorded Valpo's first dual-match victory of the season playing fourth singles against Toledo (7-5, 6-4). He also fell to Ball State (6-2, 6-3) at the No. 4 slot, and lost two close doubles matches at the No. 2 spot on the week. Fourth singles is the highest spot Litscher has ever played.

Kathary won his match in three sets at the No. 1 position against St. Francis (Pa.) (7-6(3), 6-7, 6-4). He also teamed with Ryan Trapp to defeat the No. 1 duo 8-2.

Zeljka Minic
Detroit
Junior, Zagreb, Croatia
In singles, Minic went undefeated in straight sets, helping her team to a 2-1 record on the week. She won at the No. 5 position against Toledo (6-1, 6-1) and twice at the No. 4 position, once over Akron (6-3, 6-1) and then against Oakland (6-2, 6-0). Minic also posted a 2-1 record in doubles, playing at the No. 1 spot with teammate Annie Moore in all three matches.

Tanisha Welch
Youngstown State
Sophomore, Cleveland, Ohio
Welch won her first match this year at the No. 2 singles spot after playing at No. 5 last season. She defeated a foe from IUPUI 6-2, 6-1 after posting a victory at the No. 2 doubles position with teammate Kelly Culbertson (8-2).
