Orno notched victories at No. 1 singles and doubles last weekend against No. 65 Stetson and St. Bonaventure. He came from behind to beat his Stetson opponent 4-6, 7-6(4), 12-10 and then defeated St. Bonaventure 6-2, 6-4. In doubles play, Orno and teammate Ryan Hamning won 8-6 against Stetson and 9-8(4) against St. Bonaventure.

Despite playing shorthanded all weekend, the Vikings managed to win all three of their matches, in large part to Pepino, who didn't drop a single point all weekend. She won all three of her singles matches at No. 3 with perfect 6-0, 6-0 sweeps, and teamed with Melissa Holzinger at No. 2 doubles to win 8-0 in all three matches.

Bayliss secured the Bulldogs' only singles win against Western Michigan (4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4)) at the No. 4 position. He also teamed with Ben Raynauld at No. 3 doubles for an 8-3 victory. Bayliss won the first set of his singles match against Purdue, but ended up dropping the final two sets (6-3, 1-6, 1-6).

Lystad picked up his first win at No.1 singles by defeating Illinois State's top player, 6-4, 7-6. He also dropped his match at No. 1 doubles (8-5).
Tom Litscher

Litscher teamed with Alex Lau to post an 8-5 victory at No. 1 doubles against Michigan State before dropping his No. 2 singles match 6-3, 6-0.

Ismail won his first YSU match at No. 2 singles (6-4, 4-6, 10-8) against St. Bonaventure on Saturday.

Jaimes scored a 6-0, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles against Dayton on Friday. She also teamed with Gabriella Bobrowski for an 8-0 sweep at No. 1 doubles before dropping her singles and doubles matches at Indiana on Saturday.
Sophie Sjoberg-Sundstrom

Sjoberg-Sundstrom had four victories last weekend, winning two matches at No. 5 singles and two matches at No. 3 doubles. She swept both singles matches, defeating Toledo 6-3, 6-1 and Eastern Michigan 7-6, 6-2, and only lost three points in doubles with teammate Svetlana Flankova over the two matches.

Grimando was the one Phoenix player to win a match last week, defeating her Northern Illinois' opponent 6-4, 2-6, 12-10 at No. 5 singles.

Sajevic opened the season with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over her Southern Illinois-Edwardsville opponent at No. 1 singles. She teamed with Julie Wingstrom at No. 2 doubles but lost that match, 8-2.
