Trapp went undefeated in singles and doubles action last week. At No. 2 singles, Trapp defeated his oppenents from Wesleyan (7-5, 6-2), Northwood (9-8 (7-5)), and IPFW (6-4, 6-3). At No. 1 doubles, Trapp teamed with Scott Kathary to earn victory in each of the three matches.

Cristescu clinched the Flames' match against Florida Atlantic, defeating her No. 1 singles foe 6-3, 6-7, 6-2. She also came from behind to defeat 20th-ranked Victoria Weltz of Lynn University (0-6, 6-4, 11-9). In doubles play, Cristescu teamed with Jenna Reisch to take down FAU's No. 3 team 8-5.

Robert Fox

Freshman, Apeldoorn, Netherlands

Fox was 3-0 in singles action last week, winning at both the No. 5 position against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, and the No. 6 spot against Stetson and Connecticut. Fox also teamed with Rob West to go 2-1 in doubles play at the No. 2 slot.

Alex Lau
Valparaiso
Junior, Bloomington, Minn.

Lau posted a perfect record last week against Connecticut, Adelphi and SIU-Edwardsville, going 3-0 at the No. 2 singles position and teaming with Tom Litscher to go 2-0 at No. 2 doubles. His singles victory (6-4, 6-2) against Connecticut was Valpo's lone point of the only match the Crusaders dropped last week.

Melissa Holzinger

Holzinger had two singles victories at the No. 1 spot, as she defeated foes from Connecticut and SIU-Edwardsville. In doubles play, Holzinger teamed with Jackie Tabb to win three straight matches.

Kim Sajevic
Valparaiso
Junior, Woodbury, Minn.

Sajevic went 2-1 at the No. 1 singles spot and 2-1 at the No. 2 doubles position on Valpo's spring trip. Sajevic posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Adelphi after teaming with Julie Wingstrom for an 8-0 shutout in doubles. Sajevic also defeated her SIU-Edwardsville singles foe (6-4, 7-6(6)) and the No. 2 doubles pair 8-5.

Hannah Patten
Youngstown State
Freshman, Cairo, Egypt

Patten won two of her three singles matches at the No. 6 position. She gave the Penguins their only point against Nova Southeastern by defeating her foe 6-0, 6-1, and then won against Wesleyan University 6-0, 6-3.
