Preseason poll release

The 2009 Horizon League men's soccer season begins Tuesday (Sept. 1) with seven of the nine teams in action, including defending champion Loyola at Creighton. Wright State opens it season Thursday, with preseason League favorite UIC kicking off for the first time Friday against UAB.

St. Bonaventure at Cleveland State, 7 p.m.
Loyola at Creighton, 8 p.m.
Northwestern at Green Bay, 8 p.m.
Milwaukee at Marquette (Milwaukee Cup), 8 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 3
Wright State at St. Bonaventure, 3 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 4
Milwaukee vs. Western Illinois (Middleton Sports & Fitness Invitational, Madison, Wis.), 6 p.m.
UAB at UIC, 8 p.m.
