HOUSTON -- In 2010, it was estimated that the national exposure Butler gained during its run to the national championship game was worth more that $400 million to the university.  A second straight year brings with it plenty of recognition as the media descends upong Houston, giving the Bulldogs another opportunity to raise its profile.

Butler is on the verge of becoming the next Duke.  The Bulldogs are the veterans at this Final Four.  The success of the four coaches at the Final Four should encourage more young coaches to be hired.

Matt Howard, who received the Elite 88 Award at last night's Salute Dinner as the top student-athlete in the Final Four, is becoming a celebrity on and off the court, shaking hands with former President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush.  Howard's family will be in Houston to watch him compete.

Howard is the perfect representative of Butler.

Blue II has become a celebrity in the last two years - he'll be getting VIP treatment in Houston.  Kenny Mayne visited Butler - he has issues with Blue II:
