Trentin Edwards Latest Panther Featured In <i>Sports Illustrated</i>

Milwaukee, Wis. - Trentin Edwards, a junior on theUW-Milwaukee men's track and field team, has beenselected as one of Sports Illustrated's "Faces In The Crowd" in thepublication's June 19th issue that hit newsstands Wednesday.

Edwards joins baseball player Mike Goetz (May 1) and swimmer LindsayCaldwell (Jan. 30) as being featured as "Faces in the Crowd."

Last month, Edwards won both the 100m and 200m events at the Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the second-straight season. He was subsequently named Outstanding Track Performer of the Meet. The Milwaukee native helped the Panthers to a third consecutive Horizon League Outdoor Championship and sixth straight overall league title.
