INDIANAPOLIS -- Junior Lauren Felsing (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) has been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America volleyball second team, while senior Rochelle Meulemans (University of Wisconsin-Green Bay) has earned third-team honors.

Felsing, a libero from Hartland, Wis., owns a 3.98 GPA as a marketing major at Milwaukee. She ranks third in the Horizon League with 5.04 digs per set.

The Panthers, who are 23-8 overall, captured the league's regular-season title and tournament championship this season.

Meulemans, a setter from Kaukauna, Wis., owns a 3.98 grade point average as a biology major at Green Bay. She places eighth in the Horizon League with 6.35 assists per set.

The Phoenix, which finished 9-18 this season, fell to second-seeded Valparaiso in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament on Friday.

Milwaukee will enjoy Thanksgiving Break before preparing for the 2008 NCAA Volleyball Championship. UWM will learn its first-round opponent, date, time and location late Sunday night.
