INDIANAPOLIS – UIC junior guard Shameia Green has been named Horizon League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 20.

Green received the honor for the second time this season after tallying 37 points and 11 rebounds through two contests last week.

The St. Louis, Mo., native scored 21 points on Tuesday, helping the Flames defeat Bradley 74-65, before leading all players with 13 points in the first half against Eastern Michigan on Thursday, finishing with 16.
