INDIANAPOLIS -- Having moved to 10-0-0 after a 2-1 overtime victory on Saturday, the Butler men's soccer team continued their climb in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll, earning a No. 9 ranking in Tuesday's release.

The nation's lone unbeaten, untied team in the country, Butler sits 15th in Division I men's soccer with an average of 2.3 goals per game.  On the defensive end of the field, the Bulldogs are allowing just 0.49 goals per game, which ranks eighth in the nation.  Both figures lead the Horizon League.

Senior Ben Sippola and freshman Adekulne Oluyedun have paced Butler offensively, as Sippola is second in the conference with six goals and 17 points, respectively, this season.  Oluyedun owns four goals and 10 points, tying for fifth in both categories.

Butler senior Matt Hedges leads the Horizon League with three game-winning goals, while senior Fabian Knopfler paces the conference with his 0.49 goals against average.

The Bulldogs are tied for second in the Great Lakes Region in the NSCAA polling, pulling even with Louisville.

A 2009 NCAA Tournament participant, Butler sits in the top 10 in four other polls, aside from the coaches' poll.  Soccer Times ranks the Bulldogs at No. 9, while College Soccer News lists Butler at No. 10.  Goal.com has given Butler their highest ranking at No. 5, while TopDrawerSoccer.com has the Bulldogs at No. 8.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Wednesday, when they host Bowling Green at the Butler Bowl, beginning at 4 p.m.  The Horizon League Network will have live coverage of Butler's trip to Wright State on Saturday, as the Raiders will host the Bulldogs from Alumni Field.  The match will begin at 7 p.m. ET on HLN.
