Dayton, Ohio - UW-Green Bay defeated UIC 72-59 to advance to the finals of the 2005 American Family Horizon League Championship. With the victory, the Phoenix advances to 26-3 on the season while the Flames slip to 14-15. Green Bay concluded the first half with a 38-35 advantage but outscored UIC 34-24 in the second period to claim the tournament victory. UWGB's Abby Scharlow led all-scorers with 24 points to go along with seven rebounds, five assists and five steals. Tiffany Mor followed with 18 points and 14 boards. UIC was led by Dejeanette Flournoy who posted a double-double of 18 and 18 rebounds.

Wright State 76, Detroit 66
Dayton, Ohio - Wright State defeated Detroit 76-66 to advance to the championship game of the 2005 American Family Horizon League Championship. The final game will be played Monday at the Nutter Center at 6:00 p.m. EST and will be the Raiders first Horizon League championship appearance. Wright State moves to 19-10 overall while Detroit drops to 9-20 on the season. WSU used a 10-0 first-half run to finish the period with a 37-24 advantage. The Titans came within five points (71-66) in the second stanza but could not come any closer as the Raiders scored the final six points. Wright State was led by Tyanda Hammock who scored 18 points while Angie (Ott) Griffith finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. The Titans were led by Lindsey Pasquinzo who posted 19 points and Katie Solner who added 16.
