Greencastle, Ind. - The Horizon League Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship concluded today as the UW-Milwuakee men and Youngstown State women are crowned the 2005 champions. Complete team results are as follows:

Individual Awards
Men's Performer of the Meet (Track)
Marcus Lesley, UIC
Lesley placed first in the 60-meter dash (7.00) and first in the 60-meter hurdles (8.32).

Men's Performer of the Meet (Field)
Nick Gretz, UW-Milwaukee
Gretz placed first in the Shot Put (16.58 meters) and first in the weight throw (17.05 meters).

Women's Performer of the Meet (Track)
Jeanna Cunningham, Youngstown State
Cunningham finished fourth in the 60-meter dash (7.80), first in the 60-meter hurdles (8.73) and fifth in the 200-meter dash (26.11). Cunningham also broke a League record during prelims of the 60-meter hurdles (8.68).

Women's Performer of the Meet (Field)
Carly Youlton, Youngstown State
Youlton finished first in the long jump (5.59 meters) and first in the triple jump (11.12 meters).

Men's Newcomer of the Year (Track)
Trentin Edwards, UW-Milwaukee
Edwards placed second in the 60-meter dash (7.01) and first in the 200- meter dash (22.27).

Men's Newcomer of the Year (Field)
Darren Cole, UW-Milwaukee
Cole placed eighth in the high jump (1.83 meters), fourth in the long jump (6.70 meters) and second in the triple jump (14.20 meters)

Women's Newcomer of the Year (Track)
Casanav Simmons, Wright State
Casanav placed second in the 400 meter dash (58.36).

Women's Newcomer of the Year (Field)
Bethany Anderson, Youngstown State
Anderson finished first in the shot put with a League-record breaking mark of 14.51 meters. Anderson also placed second in the weight throw (16.98 meters).
