UW-Milwaukee 57, Saint Louis 47


ST. LOUIS-Joah Tucker scored 21 points and UW-Milwaukee held a team under 50 points for the second time this season in claiming a 57-47 win over Saint Louis University Tuesday night at the Savvis Center. The Panthers (6-0) are off to their best start since the 1992-93 season, when they went 8-0. They also won on the road for the second-straight time while limiting the Billikens (1-5) to just 37 percent shooting from the field. UWM has now limited five of its six opponents to under 40 percent shooting and, for the season, opponents are shooting just 35 percent. The Panthers never trailed in the contest, bolting to a 12-0 lead and only allowing Saint Louis to tie the game once - at 30-all with 18:03 remaining. But UWM scored the next four points and eventually rebuilt a 45-36 lead with 7:21 left.

#24/22 Wisconsin 65, UW-Green Bay 55


MADISON, Wis.-UW-Green Bay dropped a 65-55 decision to #24/22 Wisconsin Tuesday night at the Kohl Center. The loss drops the Phoenix to 4-2 on the season, Wisconsin improves to 5-1 with the win. The Badgers jumped out to a 12-0 lead to start the game and the early advantage proved decisive. The Badgers built the lead to 21 points midway through the first half, but Matt Rohde hit a pair of three-pointers for the Phoenix to end the half down 35-21. Wisconsin went inside in the second half to build the lead back to 20 with 4:16 remaining. UW-Green Bay ended the contest on a 14-4 run to close the final gap to 10. Sophomore Josh Lawrence and Javier Mendiburu scored 10 points each to lead the Phoenix. Lawrence added a team-high six rebounds.

Bradley 75, Butler 66


PEORIA, Ill.-Marcellus Sommerville scored 20 points to lead Bradley to a 75-66 victory over Butler Tuesday night at Carver Arena. The Braves trailed 35-36 at the half to Butler (3-2) but outscored the Bulldogs in the second, hitting almost 78 percent from the free-throw line in front of a home crowd of 8,810. Guard Avery Sheets led Butler with 17 points, while A.J. Graves and Brandon Polk came off the bench to score 16 and 15 points, respectively.
