Milwaukee, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's swimmer Lindsay Caldwell has added another honor to her list of accomplishments this season.

The record-breaking junior from West Bend, Wis. has been chosen as one of the "Faces in the Crowd" in the Jan. 30 issue of Sports Illustrated that hit newsstands earlier this week.

The magazine cited Caldwell for her efforts on Dec. 2-3 where she "won all seven events she entered and helped the Panthers take the team title at the Wheaton Invitational in Wheaton, Ill. She set meet records in the 50- and 200-yard freestyle events and was named Horizon League swimmer of the week for the second time this season."

At that meet, Caldwell won the 50 freestyle, the 100 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke in addition to swimming with the first-place 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle, 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams.

The six athletes chosen by SI this week can also be seen at www.si.com/faces.

This marks just the second time a UW-Milwaukee athlete has appeared in the weekly feature, joining men's soccer player Antou Jallow who was chosen in December of 2004.
