Kenny Carpenter scored a career-high 18 points and Demonte Flannigan added 13 points as Cleveland State earned its first Horizon League win of the season with a 70-65 win at Northern Kentucky on Saturday night at BB&T Arena.

Matt Tiby scored a team-high 23 points and was one of four Panthers to score in double figures as Milwaukee (13-6, 4-2 Horizon) rolled to an 87-62 victory over UIC (2-14, 0-5 Horizon) this afternoon at the UIC Pavilion.

Kay Felder scored 22 points with nine assists and six rebounds as Oakland beat Detroit 86-82 on Saturday in the Metro Series at Calihan Hall.
Crusaders Continue Run, Take Down Green Bay
The Valparaiso University men’s basketball team continued its roll through the opening portion of Horizon League play, as both junior Alec Peters and senior Vashil Fernandez posted double-doubles in an 85-70 victory over Green Bay in front of a near-capacity crowd at the ARC Saturday. The win marked the 500th by a member of the Drew family as head coach of the Crusaders.
Raiders Roll Past Youngstown State
The Wright State men's basketball team shot 49 percent for the game and held Youngstown State to just 29 percent shooting as the Raiders rolled past the Penguins 81-45 in Horizon League action Saturday night at WSU's Nutter Center.
