KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Green Bay head coach added to his collection of 2013-14 accolades, earning All-District coaching honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Wardle, named the Horizon League Coach of the Year earlier in the month, guided Green Bay to its first conference regular season title since 1996 and put the Phoenix on the verge of an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Green Bay finished the season with a 24-7 record, earning its first NIT bid in 22 years after going 14-2 in Horizon League play.
In his four years with the Phoenix, Wardle has recorded a 71-56 record, with Green Bay's record improving each year.
Wardle is also a finalist for the Skip Prosser Man of the Year award.
The NABC All-Distrcit coaches are voted on by their peers. Wardle joins 24 of his colleagues this season as recipients of the honor.
